We like to throw this bait in slow moving water. This will give us a good bit of action on the drop as well as when the bait is not moving.
We recommend live target as a brand due to the quality and craftsmanship of each lure. The Mustad hooks are extremely high quality and are durable enough where they wont bend out. Although these are not our favorite hooks they are still a good pair with this product.

We have found several different ways to fish it. We like to do a slow retrieve off the bottom and by structure. We have found fishing this at night around dock lights has been a big success due to the amount of water the big tail puts off. We also like to fish this around grass lines and mangroves.
We do not like throwing it around oyster bars and rocks because of the price of the bait however we do throw these there with some heavier leaders.
